Ours was this: the people of Mt Wellington deserve
better than a rushed meal and a mediocre coffee.
Grove & Grind was born out of a love for real food — the
kind made with care, not convenience. Tucked into
Gabador Place in the heart of Mount Wellington,
Auckland, we opened our doors to serve the local
community something they could count on: fresh,
flavourful food and specialty coffee, Monday to Friday,
from the first light of morning.
We’re a gourmet café with a neighbourhood soul. Our
menu blends the best of Kiwi café culture with bold,
global flavours — think Tandoori Chicken Tikka Wraps
alongside a Kiwi Style Omelette, Indian Masala Chai next
to a perfectly pulled flat white. Because good food
doesn’t have borders.
Everything we serve is made fresh that morning. No
shortcuts. No microwaves. No yesterday’s leftovers. Our
wraps are filled by hand, our toasties are pressed to
order, our pies are baked golden, and our coffee is pulled
by a barista who takes it personally.
We know your lunch break is short. We know your

to move fast without cutting corners — so you can sit
